I am Lorraine Hooper Sipos. I was born in Philadelphia, grew up in southern New Jersey and earned a BA in Journalism at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. I raised my family in Southeastern Pennsylvania and then moved to Medina, Ohio in late 2018. I have been married to my husband John for over 45 years.
My professional career included work in radio and cable TV, newspaper reporting and feature writing, public relations and nonprofit fundraising. I worked 18 years leading a team that created retirement plan communication at Vanguard before my retirement in April 2017. Family has always been the major focus of my life. I am the oldest of six children, and love being part of a large extended family. My husband and I raised three wonderful children and are now blessed with six grandchildren. My interest in family extends to the past. I have always enjoyed the stories my parents and grandparents shared, and over the years I’ve used genealogy tools to learn more. I have a passion for preserving and documenting my family’s heritage, so that my descendants will know and appreciate where they came from. I also want to be remembered for who I was and what was important to me.
I want to share my story-telling talent and experience with others. The mission of my company, Your Story Productions, Inc. is to educate and assist individuals, families, groups, organizations and companies in telling their unique and important stories.
